Homework 2 Q&A

1. Mistakes are great lessons in trouble shooting. Hopefully when a mistake is made you do learn the way not to approach or execute for a second time and gain the insight of why it was incorrect.
2. Design is arrangement of communication, hopefully intelligent that conveys the proper purpose or idea. It is important to visual communication because it can limit subjectivity and help focus meaning.
3. research. then sketching ideas
4. intelligent arrangement for a desired outcome.
5. Composition defines the perspective of the designer and contributes to the message or the overall perception of the viewer.
6. The design looses a natural element and unity can result in a mundane experience.
7. The composition could become chaotic or unruly, ideas and attention can be lost.
8. There are six ways: grouping, containment, repetition, proximity, continuity, and closure.
9. Using closure can help in making a composition more memorable.
10. Gestalt’s psychology incorporates these same principles. Usually, the idea is seen as a whole and viewers may not notice the small details/ principles that make up the design.
